Registration form fields explained #

Esnaf has a detailed Registration Form for Vendors, this is part of our intricate and comprehensive vetting process. For simplicity, we’ll split the form in 3 parts along with screenshots. Grab a cup of chai or coffee and read on!

A. First Part of the form #

1. Username #

This is your “login” username. It’s NOT your Store Name, this username is ONLY used as a basic login credential along with your password. This is not an optional field – please don’t share your username or password with anyone else.

2. Email #

This is your email address – used for notifications / shop emails / communicating with customers and admins. Similar to the Username above, you can also login using this email address after registration. Both Username and Email can be used to log-in to Esnaf.

3. First & Last Name #

This can either be your Business name or your real name – based on how you run your shop.

4. Store Name #

This is THE most important field in the form. It generates a link for your store, for example – esnaf.art/store/YOURSTORENAMEHERE

A lot of members get confused with this field, not to worry.

Example 1: if your business is called “My Craft Shop” – you need to type “mycraftshop” in this field – which will result in your Esnaf Shop Link being esnaf.art/store/mycraftshop

Example 2: if your business is called “My Craft Shop” and you want your Esnaf Shop Link to have spaces and dashes – you need to type “my craft shop” in this field – which will result in your Esnaf Shop Link being esnaf.art/store/my-craft-shop

5. Address 1 & 2 #

This is your main location’s address – be it your home or shop.

6. Country #

Esnaf is exclusively Pakistani – this form field is generated by the system. It already has Pakistan selected, no changes needed.

7. City/Town #

This is the city/town you operate from – please make sure this is accurately filled.

8. State/County #

Esnaf accepts memberships from ALL states within Pakistan. Please choose your state correctly.

9. Postcode/ZIP #

This is the Postal Code/ZIP of your location – please make sure this is accurately filled.

B. Second Part of the form #

10. Store Phone #

This is your store’s phone number, please make sure it’s functional and accurate.

11. CNIC #

This is the second MOST IMPORTANT field of our registration form. Make sure your CNIC matches with either your name or your address – otherwise your account may not be approved.

12. Your Facebook Page Link #

This is the link to your shop’s Facebook Page – it’s an optional field and isn’t required. This is the icon that will show on your Shop’s page on Esnaf, it increases authenticity for customers and also gives your Facebook page a little boost.

13. Your Instagram Link #

This is the link to your shop’s Instagram Profile – it’s an optional field and isn’t required. This is the icon that will show on your Shop’s page on Esnaf, it increases authenticity for customers and also gives your Instagram profile a little boost.

14. Tell us a bit about what you do #

This is the third MOST IMPORTANT field in our registration form – it’s used by our team to approve/reject your application. Please be as descriptive as you can.

15. Please select the maximum categories which work for your brand #

This field has all categories available at Esnaf – choose the ones that apply to your shop.

16. How many years have you been in business? #

This is an optional field, you may fill it if you wish.

17. How many orders do you generate every month? #

This is an optional field, you may fill it if you wish.

18. What is your average sale generation/revenue each month? #

This is an optional field, you may fill it if you wish.

19. What city will your primarily be shipping to? #

This is the fourth MOST IMPORTANT field in our registration form – it enables shipping options for you in your Shop’s Dashboard. Please fill this field accurately.

C. Third Part of the form #

20. Do you require advance payments, Bank Transfer or offer COD? #

This is the fifth MOST IMPORTANT field in our registration form – please choose the options that apply to you.

21. Do you have your own retail space? #

This field tells us whether your shop has a physical presence or not.

22. Are you currently stocking your products anywhere? #

This field tells us a bit more about your business and your operations – type “Yes” or “No” based on your business.

23. Are you registered and have NTN? #

This field tells us a bit more about your business and your operations.

24. I agree to the Terms & Conditions #

Please click on the Check Box after going through our terms & conditions.

25. Password #

This is your password for logging in and managing your shop. It can be used with either your “Username” or your “Email” at the login screen. Please do not share your password with anyone else.

26. The Fine Print #

Esnaf is operated by a small team of dedicated individuals – each and every registration application goes through our elaborate vetting process. Every application needs at least 3 days to process, so please be patient.
